Use of Residential Solar Power Keeps You Away From Rising Electricity Bills

Next generation of the world belongs to renewable energy. One of the most convenient and popular sources of getting the renewable energy is “Sun”. The need for residential solar power is driven by major economics of energy derived from traditional resources. The energy produced from these traditional resources brings mounting bills to home owners. Due to this fact, home owners turn to renewable energy resources like solar power.

Installation

There are many different types of solar power installers available to choose from. Choosing a solar power installer depends on the nature of individual’s need, location and size.  The only financial investment required to install a residential solar power system is the installment expenses. Once installation of solar power system is completed, consumers get power from Sun at no extra cost. Solar power has this biggest advantage. The solar power systems require a little maintenance though. The quality of power depends on quality of solar power installers being used. In order to generate quality power, solar panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers and other solar power system components being used in installation should be of highest quality.

Residential Solar Power Systems

Residential solar power systems can be categorized into following three types:
-          Portable solar power systems
-          Grid-tie solar kits
-          Off-grid solar systems

Grid-tie kits solar systems are the most popular among all types. Grid-tie kits are for those homeowners who want to generate green energy, save money and still want to be connected to the grid. As the term is self-explanatory, the grid-tie systems are connected to commercial power grid and stores excess power generated by the solar power system installed in the house. When a house is running short of power, this grid gives the individual the stored excess power that one has deposited with the grid. Even though this power is the generated from Sun, it may provide energy when Solar Power is not available. Hence, this type of solar power systems is an excellent combination of solar power generation and electricity generated from fossil fuels.
